A Gyrotourbillon is an elaborate tourbillon construction, where the tourbillon not only rotates in a plane, that is 2-dimensional, but spatially or spherical (3-dimensional).

Jaeger-LeCoultre was the first watch manufacturer, who in 2004 presented this invention in a production model.
