The ETA 2000-1 is a small-diameter mechanical calibre by ETA. It was introduced in 1992 and remains in production as of 2019.

Overview

Based on the ETA 2892-A2, the ETA 2000-1 was designed for compact applications like ladies' watches. The 2000-1 measures just 8¾ lignes (19.40 mm) in diameter and 3.60 mm high, compared to the 11½ lignes (25.60 mm) 2892-A2.

All other features of the ETA 2000-1 are similar to the 2892-A2, including automatical winding, ball-bearing rotor, bi-directional winding, power reserve: 40 hours, date with rapid advance and hacking seconds.

The ETA 2094 chronograph movement is derived from the 2000-1.

This calibre is used in ladies' size watches, for instance in the Rainer Brand Sybaris. It is sold by TAG Heuer as their "Calibre 2".
