Two men named Georges Sandoz (father and son) were deeply involved with the Fabriques de Spiraux Réunies.

Georges Sandoz-Nicoud

Georges Sandoz-Nicoud was born around 1845.

He married the daughter of Frédéric Nicoud (1815-1887).

By 1875, Georges Sandoz was operating a watchmaking business at Rue St-Pierre 12 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the same address as his father in law. By 1880, Sandoz was a partner with Rivenc and Paquet in Geneva, operating the business that would soon be known as Sandoz Spiraux.

Sandoz was very involved in the creation of Fabriques de Spiraux Réunies, committing his firm to the cartel and becoming its chairman and chief spokesperson by 1898.

Georges Sandoz-Nicoud died around 1920.

Georges Sandoz-Hirschi

Georges Sandoz was the son of Georges Sandoz-Nicoud. He was born August 7, 1886 in Neuchâtel.

He married Jeanne Bertha Hirschi.

Georges Sandoz-Hirschi took his father's place on the board of FSR in 1920 after his father's death.

Georges Sandoz-Hirschi died on March 27, 1930 at just 44 years of age.
