Paul Gerber is a Swiss watchmaker and watch manufacturer.

Paul Gerber, born 1950 in Bern, is a watchmaker-repairer, who lives in Zurich since 1976 and operates in his own workshop. He is a member of the prestigious watches artist association AHCI. Various special watches belong to the previous work of the watch designer.

In 1997 Paul Gerber designed the movement with alarm function for the world's first automatic chronograph with integrated mechanical alarm function by Fortis.

He received entries in the Guinness Book of Records for the world's smallest wooden watch and for the world's most complicated wristwatch. The latter watch was constructed by Franck Muller in 1992 and at that time the most complicated wristwatch of the world. Gerber additionally incorporated the world's smallest flying tourbillon.

In 2007, he received the famous award Prix Gaia. Dr. Magnus Bosse (Vienna) wrote: "Paul Gerber is one of those master watchmakers who care little for the watch as a luxury object or a fashion statement. His main focus is the watch as a technical challenge, as an impressive microcosm and as a very worthwhile playground of one's own imagination."
