Calibre 1872 is a manual winding chronograph movement from Lemania.
Produced by Lemania and Nouvelle Lemania since 1961, Calibre 1872 runs at 21,600 A/h, is 27.5 mm in diameter and 5.7 mm high, has 18 jewels, and a 48 hour power reserve.
The cam switching chronograph has a central second hand and two subdials: 30 minute chronograph at 3:00 and 60 second timekeeping at 9:00.
The Lemania 1872 was used by numerous Swiss chronograph watches, notably including the Omega Speedmaster Professional, Girard-Perregaux Richeville, and Panerai as OP XVI.
It is closely related to the Lemania 1873, Lemania 1874, and Lemania 1883.
