TAG Heuer Link
Link is a sports watch range by TAG Heuer.
History
The series "Link", produced since about 1986, takes its name from the distinctive stainless steel bracelet with S-shaped members, which are the characteristic feature of this series. The stainless steel case of the watches are waterproof up to 10 or 20 atm.
Most Link models are driven by proven mechanical movements on basis of ETA calibres. There is also a quartz-driven model and a model with electro-mechanical movement.
The latter is an exclusive and patented chronograph movement and is called Calibre S: It consists of 230 components and 5 bidirectional micromotors, and is able to measure and display not only tenths, but also hundredths of a second.
The new Link (2011)
In the year 2011, the range has been revised: the case appears now lighter and flatter. With case and bracelet now polished and satin-finished surfaces complement each other. Also new at all model designs is a vertical stripe effect on the dial, which takes up the vertical geometry of the bracelet and gives the dial depth and expression.
Further features are the domed and scratch-resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, the folding clasp from stainless steel with safety push buttons and the engraved, screwed caseback, which is provided with the TAG Heuer logo.
